May 16 at 5 PM, In the Dark Circus Arts and The National Edgar Allan Poe Theatre present an encore production of their unique collaboration:
“NIGHT CIRCUS”
Cirque performance, magic and mind-reading come together for a fun event you’ll never forget.
Performing to the words of Edgar Allan Poe, your favorite In the Dark Circus Arts talents bookend a magic and mind-reading show with their thrilling aerial fabrics, cyr wheel, moon and trapeze work. In between, The National Edgar Allan Poe Theatre’s resident above-average mind-reader Alexander the Pretty Good will pick your brains with his fun, funny and sometimes plain weird magical skills.
A portion of the ticket sales will be donated to Doomsday 2026 – Baltimore’s Fifth Annual Non-Stop Reading Marathon of the works of Edgar Allan Poe. This 24 hour reading marathon is hosted this year at In the Dark Circus Arts, starting outside at noon on May 16, and continuing uninterrupted straight through until noon on May 17. A percentage of every ticket sold will be donated to the Doomsday event.
Last time the Night Circus came to town, the show sold out quickly. Make sure to get your tickets, so you don’t get left out of the fun!

Pre-Flight show
This is our short, pre-show showing of Soaring!
Friday April 24th 7pm
Doors open 45 minutes before showtime. There will be a cash bar open with delectable treats and snacks, soft drinks, beer and wine to get you in the mood for flight. Parking is street side and generally plentiful, but we always encourage car pooling and ride sharing! Seating is general admission.

Soaring student showcase
In the Dark Circus Arts - Baltimore's Center for Circus Arts presents our 'Soaring' Student Showcase. These courageous students have spent countless hours preparing for take off in this exciting showcase of unbelievable feats of strength and courage! You will be entertained with amazing acts in the aerial fabrics, trapeze, lyra, sling, rope, juggling, cyr and german wheels.
Saturday April 25th 3pm and 7pm
