Tea & Stretch Workshop
This is the event we have all been waiting for…. two of the best things in life.. TEA & STRETCHING! Kelly Jo will be brining her arsenal of apothecaric (is that a word?) teas and we will be brewing pots of all her favorites (herbal, fruity, floral, ya know, all the ones that won’t keep you up all night). There will also be teas for sale if you fall in love with one of the varieties. What the heck - I will even bring the fancy tea cups this time! Jane Austin meets Jane Fonda, seriously. Pick your flavor, pour a cuppa and warm up from inside out. Unlock the power and mobility of your hips, legs, back and shoulders in this targeted workshop designed for circus artists of all levels. We'll begin with a full-body warm-up, then dive into a series of active and passive exercises focused on strengthening, lengthening and opening. These drills will support your progress in circus wheels, aerials, flexibility training, and overall movement quality. You'll leave with a toolkit of exercises to continue practicing at home—and a clear path to track your "stretch to success."
